Iran fires long-range missile in latest tests

Iran says it has fired a long-range Shahab-3 missile as part of exercises to test a launch system described by a White House official earlier this year as "a significant step forward" in terms of the country's military capacity. If Iran's claims are true, the missile brings Moscow, Athens and southern Italy within striking distance of its weapons. full story
