The PWA contributes to an accessible web
Rui Lopes, a researcher of the University of Lisbon won a best paper award and has been collaborating with the PWA.
Rui Lopes and his PhD adviser Luis Carriço, researchers at the University of Lisbon wrote the paper The Impact of Accessibility Assessment in Macro Scale Universal Usability Studies of the Web and won the best paper award at the W4A’08 – International Cross-Disciplinary Conference on Web Acessibility.
The PWA has been collaborating with these researchers in a study that has the main objective of measuring the acessibility of the Portuguese web to people with disabilities.
