Robert Labatt, CEO
Robert is a former Research Director at the Gartner Group where he provided thought leadership for the B2C online retail sector and subsequently for the emerging Web Services area. Prior to that, he filled senior operational leadership roles in a marketing and technology services firm, bringing multi-national corporations such as CIBC, American Re-insurance and Magna International to the online world. Robert has also developed highly successful direct selling and fulfillment campaigns for IBM and AT&T while at direct response television company Channel500. Robert holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario and a BA in Economics from Bishop's University.

Steve DeMello, VP Operations
Steve brings substantial experience in operations management and strategy development to ezboard. He began his career as a health care executive and served as Senior Vice President of a major Northern California healthcare system and President and COO of a Bay Area home health care provider. He also has extensive software and consulting experience, including serving as a Principal of A.T. Kearney, Inc. Most recently, Steve was Vice President and Client Services Director of Axios Data Analysis Systems, a developer of Web-based business intelligence systems for the healthcare and insurance industries. Steve received an M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Economics from Claremont McKenna College.

Vanchau Nguyen, Founder
Vanchau is the founder and chief visionary of ezboard. Previously, he built and operated BBS and online communities for over ten years. Vanchau began to develop ezboard's core technology and application service in 1998 to address the need for customizable Web-based communities. He is an experienced programmer in object-oriented languages. Vanchau has been a consultant to Northern Telecom, Florida Power & Light, and OOCL shipping lines, where he worked on mission critical enterprise-wide systems. Vanchau received a computer science degree from Virginia Tech.

Ed Dailey
Ed brings strategic financial management experience to the Company. He began his career in the investment group at Aetna Life & Casualty and later was CFO of a real estate developer which he restructured and sold to Weyerhaeuser Company. He also served as CFO of a Bay area home health care provider. Most recently, Ed was a principal and CFO of Data Express, a developer of integrated automatic vehicle location (AVL) solutions which was sold in 1998. He is a director of Informer Systems Limited, a U.K.-based developer of remote access data security software. Ed received an M.B.A. with distinction from Cornell University and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from University of Notre Dame.

Kathy Levinson
Kathy is the former president and chief operating officer of E*TRADE Group, Inc., and president and chief operating officer of E*TRADE Securities, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of E*TRADE Group, Inc. During 1995 Kathy was a consultant to E*TRADE. Prior to that, she enjoyed a long career with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., having held several senior executive positions. Kathy was named one of 1999's "100 Most Influential Business Women in the Bay Area" by Business Times Magazine and one of the "25 Top Unsung Heroes on the Net" by Inter@active Week Online. She is a senior fellow of the American Leadership Forum and serves on their board of directors. In addition, Kathy serves on a number of other boards in both the private and non-profit sectors. Kathy received a B.A. in economics from Stanford University.

Sean Foote
Sean is a Director of Labrador Ventures and currently is active on the board of directors of GetRelevant, iSyndicate, Inc., MessageBay and He was previously at Scripps Ventures, where he made several investments along side Labrador. Before venture investing, Sean was a Manager with the strategic management consulting firm Boston Consulting Group, working in a wide range of industries such as telecom, computers, healthcare, banking and automotive, on topics ranging from strategic alliances to Internet strategies. He also worked as a systems engineer for AT&T Bell Laboratories, developing expert systems for testing what is now called IP traffic. Sean received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri Rolla and his MBA with honors from University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business.

Jess Rifkind
Jess is an experienced technical, financial and strategic management consultant based in Southern California. He was a founder of the Advanced Development Lab of Xerox Corporation's Palo Alto Research Center (PARC). Jess also serves on the boards of Gemstone Corporation, a leading provider of object-oriented database software for client-server systems and (NASDAQ: UBET), which offers Web-based race handicapping.

Jim Cashel, President and Chief Executive Officer, Forum One Communications Corporation
Jim is President and CEO of Forum One Communications, an Internet services firm focused on online community building, principally around public policy issues. He is an industry expert and publishes the monthly Online Community Report newsletter and a leading forum search engine service. He has written articles for leading industry publications and serves as advisor and dealmaker to online community developers. Previously, Jim was co-founder of the Eurasia Foundation, a grantmaking organization active in the former Soviet Union. He has degrees from Stanford University, the John F. Kennedy School of Government and Harvard Medical School.
