- preparation of the high-temperature superconducting films by pulsed laser deposition, by lift-off lithography method and
study of the surface morphology and dielectric properties;
- preparation of thin films (and ceramics) by sol gel method and study of the structure, microstructure, dielectric properties
and surface morphology of incipient ferroelectrics: x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive
spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy with electron diffraction, atomic force microscopy, dielectric characterisation;
- vast background in ceramics processing and grain-boundary engineering;
- familiarity with microwave, time-domain terahertz, infrared, micro-Raman spectroscopy, obtained during 1-month stage at
the group of Dr. Jan Petzelt in the Institute of Physics of the Academy of Sciences of Czech Republic in Prague (November,
2004), as well as dielectric measurements at low temperature, obtained during 2-weeks stage in the group of Dr. Roger
Wördenweber in the Institut für Schichten und Grenzflächen, Forschungzentrum Jülich, Germany (July, 2005) and magnetic measurements
in group of Prof. Wolfgang Kleemann in Angewandte Physik, Universität Duisburg-Essen, Duisburg, Germany (April, 2008).
