Development and validation of ecological and biodiversity indicators (using soil invertebrates and trait based approaches) to assess changes in soil quality and ecosystem service provision derived from land-use changes in agricultural and forest systems.

Soil Ecotoxicology:
Development and adaptation of bioassays with soil organisms to assess effects of chemical substances and wastes on soil (mainly in Mediterranean and Tropical systems)and to integrate on Ecological Risk Assessment schemes of contaminated soils.
