Bio || Bio

Fernando Machado Silva, tendo frequentado o 1º e 2º ano da licenciatura em Engenharia dos Recursos Geológicos, licenciou-se em Estudos Teatrais, ramo vocacional (2004); e é mestre em Literatura e Poéticas Comparadas pela Universidade de Évora (2007), com a tese intitulada "Da Literatura, do Corpo e do Corpo na Literatura – Derrida, Deleuze e monstros do Renascimento", sob a orientação do Professor Doutor Hélio Alves e do Professor Doutor Olivier Feron. Encontra-se neste momento em doutoramento, versando sob o corpo como conceito filosófico e suas ligações ao trabalho do actor/performer, bem como certas técnicas teatrais desenvolvidas no século XX, a partir do pensamento dos filósofos Gilles Deleuze, Jacques Derrida e Michel Foucault. É orientado pelo Professor Doutor Nuno Nabais, da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa; e bolseiro pela FCT. É membro do CFCUL desde 2011, na linha de investigação Ciência e Arte. É, também, actor/performer.

  2. 2012 Informal encounter and talk with the Thai dancer and choreographer Pichet Klunchun about his artistic process and dialogue with the work of the Russian dancer Nijinski. This event was a collaboration between Espaço Alkantara and Laboratory for Movement and Philosophy (Lisbon, April).
