The Immigrant GIP (Professional Integration Bureaus) network plays an active role at several levels:
- Provision of professional information for young people and unemployed adults
- Support in active job search
- Support in finding training courses
- Personalized follow-up of the unemployed people during the integration or reintegration phase
What services are available?
At the GIP (Professional Integration Bureaus), the immigrant has several services at his or her disposal:
- Disclosure and referral to job offers and training
- Placement activities
- Information and referral to support measures for entrepreneurship, employment and training
- Information about community programs to promote mobility in employment and vocational training in Europe
- Motivation and support for participation in temporary occupations or activities on a voluntary basis
- Periodic presentation control of the beneficiaries of employment benefits
How is the service processed in the GIP?
At the GIP, the service is done by registration, taking into account the area of residence of the immigrant (see map), and monitoring is personalized, performed by a professional who will take note of his or her needs as well as the respective referral to job and / or qualification.
In addition to the services provided and the local proximity, its geographical distribution from North to South, this GIP Immigrant Network works seamlessly, allowing the exchange and sharing of useful information to customers.
All professionals have specific and continuing education, as well as a privileged contact with CLAII (Local Centers and National Immigrant Support) so that they can provide complementary responses to the immigrant’s full integration.
