Victims of human traffic or support to illegal immigration have the right to residence permit?

Yes, it is granted a residence permit to the foreigner citizen that is or was a victim of penal infraction of human traffic or support to illegal immigration even if he has entered the country illegally or does not gather all the condition to obtain a residence permit.
May be considered as a victim of traffic to all whenever there are evidences of the practice of that crime by the judiciary authority or body of the criminal police or when the coordinator for the National Plan Against Human Traffic is certain that are reasons enough to believe that that person is a victim.
 
It is granted the residence permit provided that the following conditions are met:  
Be necessary to excende the permanece in national territory for the purpoe of investigation and legal proceedings; 
The applicant shows clear will to cooperate with the authorities in the investigation and suppression of this type of penal infractions;
The applicant cut relations with the presume authors of the infractions. 
However, may be granted residence permit, with dismissal of the referred conditions on points 1 and 2, when the personal circumstances of the victim justify it 
 
Whenever the public authorities or association that act in the scope of the protection of victims of criminality consider that a foreigner citizen may benefit from this residence permit, they inform him of that possibility, letting the SEF know also. 
Provided that there are evidences that a person is a victim of the infractions in questions, SEF will give a deadline to the applicant to thing and recover and runaway from the influence of the authors of the infractions.
During this deadline, the authority responsible for the investigation utter an opinion about the fullness of the previously mentioned conditions so that SEF begins the process of granting a residence permit of extend the deadline of thinking.
It is important to highlight that the deadline to think does not give the applicant to right of residence. 
 
Is valid for a period of a year, renewable for equal periods, it the conditions that based its concession are maintained.
