1st Meeting of the UT Austin - Portugal Program Board of Directors

The main management body of the U Texas Austin – Portugal Program, the Board of Directors, met for the first time on the same day, 2 March 2007 at the Launching of the U Texas Austin – Portugal Program. The meeting was intended to establish procedures for the operation of this body, appoint the Program’s External Review Committee and discuss the implementation of the first initiatives, particularly concerning Postgraduate programs, technology transfer and corporate R&D.

The Board of Directors of the UT Austin - Portugal Program is chaired by the President of the Science and Technology Foundation (FCT), and includes the President of The Knowledge Society Agency (UMIC), the Vice President for Research and the Associate Vice President for Research of the University of Texas at Austin and, as designated by the Head of that University, the two co-directors of the Program, in Portugal and at UT Austin.
