Calls for proposals for projects have also been launched for several of the objectives of the Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Materials and New Production Technologies topic area, which focuses on the following activities:
Nanosciences and nanotechnologies – study of phenomena and manipulation of matter at the nanoscale and development of nanotechnologies to manufacture new products and services.
- Materials – use of nanotechnology and biotechnology know-how for new products and processes.
- New production – creating conditions for ongoing innovation and development of generic production goods (technologies, production organisation and premises, and human resources), meeting environmental and safety requirements.
- Integration of technologies in industrial applications – focus on new technologies, materials and applications to meet the needs identified by the different ETP – European Technology Platforms.
