A meeting of the i2010 High Level Group will be held in the headquarters of the European Commission building in Brussels on 20th April 2007. The members are Directors-General for the Information Society, representing the Member States.
Portugal is represented at the i2010 High Level Group by the President of Knowledge Society Agency (UMIC)
The meeting agenda includes: discussion of communications convergence and use of new ICT products and services from the consumer’s perspective, the challenges posed by communications convergence in terms of developing new services and content, presentation of the 2007 i2010 annual report, state of preparations for the i2010 mid-term review and discussion of topics to be studied, discussion of eInclusion policies, their economic value and relationship to sectorial education, innovation, transport, employment, policies, etc.
