2nd IDC Yearbook for the ITC Sector Published

Logotipo da IDC IDC Portugal published the 2nd IDC Yearbook for the ITC Sector (text in Portuguese) which includes references to more than 650 companies and different public bodies and non-governmental associations connected to the ICT - Information and Communication Technologies sector.

The public bodies providing institutional support for this programme were The Knowledge Society Agency (UMIC) and the Office of the National Coordinator of the Lisbon Strategy and the Technological Plan.

The yearbook opens with a foreword by the Research and Consulting Director of IDC Portugal, Gabriel Coimbra, and the following contributions:

  • Increasing the Return on Innovation in IT: principles towards High Performance, Manuel Mira Godinho, Partner in Accenture Portugal
  • Communications; A World of Challenges, APDC – Portuguese Association for Communication Development
  • Portugal 2.0 – Seizing the Opportunity, Carlos Zorrinho, National Coordinator of the Lisbon Strategy and the Technological Plan
  • Recent Progress in the Information Society and ICT in Portugal, Luis Magalhães, President of The Knowledge Society Agency (UMIC).
