European Union National ICT Directors Forum, Ljubljana

The half-yearly meeting of the National ICT Directors General Forum was held on 14 May 2008 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. This forum hosts Directors-General responsible for the Information and Communication Technologies area in the 27 EU Member States and the external associate countries of the EU Framework Research Programme.

The topic for discussion at this meeting was the Future of European Research, Development and Innovation in ICT Policies, based on the communication planned by the European Commission on this subject.

Portugal is represented by the President of The Knowledge Society Agency (UMIC) at the National ICT Directors-General Forum.
