Inter-Sessional Panel 2009-2010 of the UN's Commission on Science and Technology Development

UN logo The Inter-Sessional Panel of the UN’s CSTD – Commission on Science and Technology for Development was held from 9 to 11 November 2009, at the Geneva International Conference Centre.

The Panel examined the follow-up to the World Summit on the Information Society, improvements and innovations in ICT funding mechanisms, new and emerging technologies focussed on energy technologies, especially green or renewable resources, based on a series of documents and presentations.

The Panel’s conclusions and recommendations will be examined at the 13th CSTD meeting in May 2010.
