- 16/11/2007On 19th November 2007, the day before the High Level Conference on Nanotechnologies, 9 committees and councils of various EU programmes are meeting in Braga. These include the half-yearly Forum of National ICT Directors-General of the European Union and 3 meetings of European Technology Platform committees and councils, namely:
- Forum of National ICT Directors-General of the European Union
- Presidium of the ARTEMIS (Embedded Systems) European Technology Platform
- Nanomedicine European Technology Platform
- EPoSS (Smart Systems) European Technology Platform Steering Group
- Programming Committee for Theme 4 “Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Materials and New Production Technologies’ (NMP)" of the “Cooperation” Programme of the EU’s 7th Research Framework Programme.
- Open workshop from the HEALTHY AIMS project on Health Applications to Demonstrate Micro-Nano-Bio Convergence
- Workshop on the HIPEAC – European Network of Excellence on High-Performance Embedded Architecture and Compilation’s Computation Systems
- European Experts’ workshop on the NEXUS Association’s Microfluidics
- ICT Committee of the EU’s 7th Research Framework Programme.
The meetings and the High Level Conference on Nanotechnology on 19th –21st November 2007 in Braga are being jointly organised by Knowledge Society Agency (UMIC), the Science and Technology Foundation (FCT), the Setting-up Committee of the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL) and the European Commission’s Directorates-General for Research, Technology and Development and the Information Society and Media.
