2015 Going Local Portugal

The 2015 edition of Going Local is taking place in Lisbon next September 18th. This year, the initiative will be dedicated to the Digital Single Market Strategy.

This event, which was co-organised by FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, IP, and the European Commission, is part of an European exercise and discussion group that occurs in all Member States of the European Union, and aims at identifying synergies between the European political agenda and the Portuguese priorities for the public policies of the Information Society through a discussion with Portuguese stakeholders, which include governments, the technical and academic communities, the private sector, and the civil society.

This initiative shall take place in the European Commission's Representation, where the European Commissioner for Science, Research, and Innovation - Carlos Moedas - is expected to be present.
