O visto para obtenção de autorização de residência para exercício de atividade profissional independente pode ser concedido ao nacional de Estado terceiro que possua: ∙ Contrato ou proposta escrita de contrato de prestação de serviços no âmbito de profissões liberais; ∙ Declaração emitida pela entidade competente para a verificação dos requisitos do exercício de profissão que, em Portugal, se encontre sujeita a qualificações especiais (sempre que aplicável).
The visa to obtain a residence authorization for an independent employment can be granted to the third-State national who possesses:
- Contract or written offer of a contract for services as liberal professions;
- Declaration issued by the competent authority to verify the requirements of the profession that, in Portugal, is subject to special qualifications (when applicable).
- A residence visa is granted to the entrepreneurial immigrant who wishes to invest in Portugal, since he possesses:
- Declaration that he undertook or intends to undertake an investment in Portugal, indicating its nature, value and duration; and
- Supporting document that he undertook investments; or
- Supporting documents that he has the available financial means in Portugal, including the ones obtained at a financial institution in Portugal, and that he intends to undertake an investment operation at Portuguese territory, duly described and identified.
The visa request will be duly studied, taking into account, namely, the economic, social, scientific, technological or cultural relevance of the investment.
Yes. The fact of having a residence visa does not mean that the SEF will grant to you, necessarily, the residence authorization. There are other conditions that must be met.
