Non EU citizens and/or Schengen Space can apply for visas to the Portuguese diplomatic representations.

All Media representatives from non EU countries outside the EU should comply with customs to declare the transport of different equipment.

European Health Insurance Card
In case of accident or illness during your stay in Portugal, citizens from the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland have access to free health care or at a reduced-cost (same as Portuguese beneficiaries), when presenting the European Health Insurance Card (issued in the country of origin), passport and Identity card.

BANKS

Banks are open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am until 3 pm.
There is a national ATM network identified as MB (Multibanco), for cash withdrawals, 24 hours a day. ATM machines will be available in Media Centre.


POSTAL SERVICES

Post offices are opened from 9:00 until 6 pm. The Central Post Office and the airport Post office are open longer hours on Saturdays as well as on Sundays. Stamps are sold in Post offices and in stamp machines along the city. Several Post offices provide a Net post service allowing to access personal e-mail and internet by paying a fee.
