Teaching and non Teaching Staff
Teaching and non teaching staff can take advantage of the possibilities of the Erasmus +K1 action both for teaching assignments and training period or job shadowing. A number of Erasmus Mundus Action 2 partnerships offer scholarships until 2017.

Doctoral candidates can apply also to a mobility to follow all or part of their doctoral studies abroad through the Marie Skolowska-Curie Actions under the Horizon 2020 programme.

Outgoing teaching and non teaching staff
//When and how to apply?
Staff must carry out their mobility activity in any Program Country different from the country of the sending organization and the staff country of residence.
If you are an outgoing teaching or non-teaching staff you should apply following the information received in your institutional mail box regarding the application period. Normally people can apply between March and the end of May of one year to go in the next academic year. A large period for applications intends to give applicants the chance to prepare all necessary documents.

The Mobility can take from 2 days (5 days from and to Partner Countries) to 2 months, excluding travel time. In all cases, a teaching activity has to comprise a minimum of 8 hours of teaching per week (or any shorter period of stay). IPLeiria normally accepts 5 days exchange for outgoing teaching and non teaching staff.
IPLeiria only provides incoming teaching and non-teaching staff with certificates of attendance if the dates mentioned were used to do a mobility at IPLeiria.

For application before final selection
· Teaching or Work Programme
· Acceptance letter (original or scanned) by the hosting institution signed by a representative (Rector/President, Dean, Department Coordinator or Head of International Office) duly stamped.
· Language Certificate*;
· Declaration from the Human Resources stating position and continuous working time.
*in the final destination is Spain or Italy, ask if the language certificate is needed.

Incoming Mobility – Incoming Teaching and non Teaching Staff
If you are an incoming teaching staff, start the preparation of your mobility by contacting our International Cooperation and Mobility Department (GMCI) using the following email address:

GMCI office will take the necessary steps in the department of your choice and the department will consider how the visit fits with their plan of work and academic timetables. Take due notice that we can receive teaching staff during all year, excluding holidays season- Christmas, Easter and July/August.
Check with your home university which documents they will need to certify your exchange.
//Accommodation:
Ipleiria can provide a big variety of places at several prices during your stay, further to the “Pousadinha José Saramago”- a residence hall for teachers located in front of our main building, there’s the possibility of staying in a private residence hall with kitchen or in several hotels nearby. Upon you request GMCI will book a room during your stay with us.
//Social and Touristic Program:
Our location is greatly appreciated by our visitors due to the pristine beaches, magic pine tree forest, monasteries, castles and churches and at last but not the least our gastronomy.
//Who can apply?
Staff mobility for teaching:
The receiving organization must be: a Program Country HEI awarded with an ECHE or a Partner Country HEI having signed an inter-institutional agreement with the sending Program Country partner before the mobility takes place.
The sending organization must be: a Program Country HEI awarded with an ECHE, or a Partner Country HEI having signed an inter-institutional agreement with the receiving Program Country partner; or any Program Country public or private organization active in the labor market or in the fields of education, training and youth. For example, such organization can be:
a public or private, a small, medium or large enterprise (including social enterprises);
a public body at local, regional or national level;
a social partner or other representative of working life, including chambers of commerce, craft/professional associations and trade unions;
a research institute;
a foundation;
a school/institute/educational center (at any level, from pre-school to up-per secondary education, and including vocational education and adult education);
a non-profit organization, association, NGO;
a body providing career guidance, professional counselling and information services.
Staff mobility for training:
The receiving organization must be: a Program Country HEI awarded with an ECHE, or a Partner Country HEI having signed an inter-institutional agreement with the receiving Program Country partner; or any Program Country public or private organization active in the labor market or in the fields of education, training and youth. The sending organization must be a: Program Country HEI awarded with an ECHE or a Partner Country HEI having signed an inter-institutional agreement with the receiving Program Country partner before the mobility takes place.
//Zero Grant
Staff with a zero grant from EU funds are mobile participants that do not receive a EU grant related to travel and subsistence, but they fulfil all criteria and benefit of all advantages of being Erasmus.
