Caroline Costongs, Director of EuroHealthNet (the European Partnership for Health Equity and Wellbeing), advocates linking better health and reduced inequalities with climate initiatives, in what she describes as a ‘triple-win’ approach.

Today the European Commission published the reports that depict the profile of health systems in 30 countries. Country Health Profiles are being issued with the Companion Report that shows some of the biggest trends in the transformation of the healthcare systems and draws key conclusions from the Profiles.

Professor Jan De Maeseneer, Chair of the Expert Panel, reflects on the Panel's role, work and impact after its 6 years of existence. To mark the end of the current Expert Panel’s mandate, the Commission and the Panel are organising a conference on the interaction between science/expertise and policy-making on 8 November in Brussels.

On Monday 28 October, the Commission will hold a conference with stakeholders to present and discuss the findings of its evaluation of the blood, tissues and cells legislation which was published on 11 October 2019.
