Jérôme Mendes received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Automation branch) from the University of Coimbra in 2008 and 2009, respectively. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Coimbra. Since 2009, he is a Researcher at the Portuguese Institute for Systems and Robotics (ISR). His research interests include genetic algorithms, predictive control, adaptive control and fuzzy control for industrial processes.
