Luís Manuel Cabrita Pais Homem é licenciado em Filosofia pela Faculdade de Letras de Lisboa (2005). Concluiu o Mestrado em Filosofia da Natureza e do Ambiente (FLUL) com a tese "A Nova Plasticidade do Tempo e Analítica em Darwin" (2009). Concluiu também o Mestrado em Lógica e Filosofia da Ciência na Universidade de Salamanca com a tese "Topics in Programming Languages, a Philosophical Analysis through the case of PROLOG" (2012). Por se tratar de um Programa com Menção de Qualidade, oferece passagem automática para Doutoramento e, assim, concluiu o Doutoramento subordinado ao mesmo tema na Universidade de Salamanca (2018) (Sobresaliente). É membro integrado do CFCUL desde o Verão de 2011. Dedica-se, fundamentalmente, a dois ramos de investigação, atinentes a Filosofia das Ciências:

1. sobre o zénite e fulgor de uma Filosofia da Natureza com a escola de Alexandria, e correspondente nadir e último estertor com o círculo de Viena.

2. E ainda em Filosofia da Lógica e da Computação, onde é proponente do conceito de U-mentalism (computabilidade por diferença e repetição de imagens, linguagem de programação singular e universal por padrões visuais e inversão da arquitectura clássica de computadores): http://www.u-mentalism.com.
