Guillermo Ivan Pereira is a Ph.D. Candidate in Sustainable Energy Systems at the MIT Portugal Program and the University of Coimbra. Holds a M. Sc. in Energy for Sustainability with specialization in Energy Systems and Policy by the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration by the Faculty of Economics of the same University. His research interests include electricity sector transformation, energy efficiency, climate and energy policy, energy efficiency governance, and utilities of the future.
