Mobilidades de estudo durante o surto de Covid19
Se interrompeste a tua mobilidade podes ser obrigado a devolver a parte da bolsa que decorre entre a data em que regressaste e a data em que a mobilidade deveria ter terminado inicialmente. Contacta o GMCI para que a tua situação seja analisada.
Mesmo ficando no país de destino poderás ser obrigado a devolver parte da tua bolsa. Contudo poderá ser possível receber um montante relativo a despesas para cobrir o período. Contacta o GMCI para que a tua situação seja analisada.
Terás que iniciar um novo processo de estágio e contactar a entidade de acolhimento e o teu Coordenador de Curso.
Se tiveste despesas de viagem relacionadas com a mobilidade aprovada, tais como bilhetes de avião que não usaste e cujo valor não é reembolsável, podes receber o valor para as despesas de viagem, sempre que a as regras do Programa assim o determinem.
Podes ainda receber o valor já pago para a reserva do alojamento. Esta situação estará sujeita a avaliação por parte da Agência Nacional do Programa Erasmus +. Para o efeito, deves consultar o GMCI.
Em princípio será possível. Questiona as entidades envolvidas (universidades/entidade de estágio e Coordenador de Curso) e entrega o teu processo no Gabinete Internacional da tua Escola.
Os recém licenciados ou mestrados, que tenham necessidade de adiar a sua mobilidade, terão oportunidade de prolongar esse prazo até 18 meses após o fim do seu curso.

Undergraduate and master degree Students of Polytechnic of Leiria
Students with an ongoing or already finished disciplinary atatement;

You can do the exchange between 3 months and 12 months in each study cycle (TeSP, Bachelor and Master).

The application should be sent to the International cooperation and Mobility Office of Polytechnic of Leiria. Students who wish to pursue with mobility , either during the programme must fill in the Learning Agreement together with the course coordinator. Once the student confirms the intention to participate in the mobility programme, he/she will receive a GMCI e-mail with the list of documents to deliver as well as the procedures to follow to formalize the process. Be aware that partner institutions have a nomination deadline. Please visit the host institution’s website.
The Learning Agreement (LA), or study plan is a document that identifies the curricular units that the student intends to pursue in the partner institution and that will have equivalence once the mobility is concluded. The document in available online, The LA must be completed with guidance of the course coordinator and subsequently signed by both parties and delivered to the GMCI: If the students wants to change the initial LA, he/she must do so by following the right documents available online. These changes should occur under the coordinator’s knowledge and within 30 days of the start date of classes at the host institution.
Learning Agreement; Copy of the Identification Card (ID) Bank account identification number (IBAN); Copy of the Health Insurance Card. All Students who travel abroad should apply for the European Health Insurance Card, at your home town Social Security office, at “Loja do Cidadão” or online. This card is free of charge and can be used for medical assistance in cases of accident or sudden illness. You can get more information here It is recommended but not required, that Students acquire travel insurance in addition to the document indicated above, should they need continued medical care. The student must sign a contract that allows him/her to enjoy the Erasmus student status , and this independently on whether the scholarship is granted. Il this document is not available before the student leaves, should be signed after his/her returns with the date of transfer of the grant (when applicable). At the end of the mobility programme, the student must present a Letter of Confirmation, a document showing the start and end dates of the mobility programme. This should be signed and stamped by the International relation office of the host institution.
Upon reception of the Transcript of Records, the GMCI sends it to the home institution, along with a copy of the LA, or in some cases, with the documents with the changes to the LA. The School sends to the GMCI a statement with the final grades obtained by equivalence. Any claim in assigning final grades, when they concern the transposition of grades between two countries should l be addressed to the academic services of the respective School. Il the students receives the Transcript of Records directly, he /she should always deliver it at the GMCI. If the Transcript of Records is delivered directly to the student upon his/her return, he/she should hand it to the GMCI which will then forward it to the appropriate School. The Student Erasmus Final Report tis required , through purely for statistical purposes , and is made available online to the student by the National Agency.
Being an Erasmus + student does not necessarily means that you will receive a mobility grant. Nevertheless, if the student is selected he/she can receive an Erasmus scholarship that will cover the difference of level of life between his/her country and the host country.
The value of the scholarship varies with the host country and the length of the stay. All practical matters such as travel and accommodation, are the student’s responsibility. The Erasmus + mobility programme is funded by the European Commission and by the National Agency. The GMCI has 30 days to issue the Erasmus grants, once the contract is signed; however, the payment of scholarships depends on the transfer of funds by the National Agency. An initial transfer of 80% will be made and at the end of the mobility programme and upon delivery of the final documents, Letter of Confirmation and Student Report, the payment of the remaining 20% will be made. The number of scholarships to be awarded is not known from the outset, and funds assigned vary from year to year. In any case, each course of Polytechnic of Leiria will have at least 2 scholarships.. However, during the financial year, funds may be redistributed and channeled to the Erasmus + scholarships. Hence, more students may end up receiving scholarships in the case of funds redistribution, an addendum to the Erasmus contract with the respective amount is issued, which must be signed by the student and the Institutional Coordinator.
Yes. In case of drop out due to reasons of the student responsibility. If He/ She behaves badly and doesn’t honor the name of Polytechnic of Leiria. If any curricular unit is completed with success.
While at the host institution, the student should strive to develop their education, attend all classes and seminars, be motivated and have knowledge of the languages needed for mobility, besides behaving in a way that honors the Polytechnic of Leiria.

Vasco da Gama
O programa Vasco da Gama é um programa criado pelo Conselho Coordenador dos Institutos Superiores Politécnicos e tem por objetivo principal promover e potenciar a mobilidade de estudantes entre os Institutos Politécnicos nacionais (Ler regulamento do Programa).
Os estudantes que integram o programa poderão realizar um período de mobilidade em qualquer Instituto Politécnico nacional, estudo ou estágio, por um período de três meses a um ano.
O prazo de candidaturas é renovado anualmente, estando as candidaturas abertas até 30 de maio para as mobilidades a realizar no ano letivo seguinte.
Os interessados deverão preencher e entregar uma Ficha de Candidatura e um Programa de Estudos no Gabinete Internacional da Escola do Politécnico de Leiria a que pertencem, devidamente assinados pelas entidades indicadas. Os responsáveis pela mobilidade em cada Escola, em articulação com o Gabinete de Mobilidade e Cooperação Internacional (GMCI), remeterão os documentos para o Politécnico parceiro para confirmação da mobilidade.
Ficha de Candidatura
Nota: O facto de uma instituição integrar o programa Vasco da Gama não a obriga a receber os estudantes de outra instituição. A aceitação é sempre pontual, verificada caso a caso e depende da disponibilidade da instituição receptora. Por não haver verba canalizada para o programa não existe apoio financeiro para além daquele de que o estudante já beneficie através dos Serviços de Ação Social.

CESD – Cartão Europeu de Seguro e Doença
Se vais estudar na UE e estás inscrito na segurança social, tens direito a aceder gratuitamente aos serviços públicos de saúde nos estados membros. O CESD “Cartão Europeu de Seguro de Doença” é gratuito e deve ser pedido na Segurança Social, loja do cidadão da sua área de residência ou online pelo menos dois meses antes de viajar.
Este cartão deve ser apresentado na instituição de segurança social do lugar da estadia, de forma a comprovar a inscrição do participante no regime de segurança social em Portugal, permitindo, assim, invocar o direito a cuidados de saúde no Estado-Membro onde se encontra temporariamente. Apenas os cuidados de saúde praticados pelo setor público estão incluídos neste regime e cada país tem as suas próprias regras em matéria de cuidados de saúde públicos.
Se padecer de doença crónica ou alguma situação específica de saúde deve fazer um seguro de saúde, já que são poucos os países da UE que pagam integralmente as despesas de tratamento médico.
