International Cooperation

International Organizations

FCT supports and follows the participation of the scientific and technological community in the international organizations of which Portugal is a member. The resulting benefits for the scientific and technological community include the access of national teams to international scientific infrastructures, increased industry competitiveness, access to training programs and calls for scientific or management positions in international organizations.

FCT also ensures national representation in the management bodies of international organizations and promotes and follows the process of joining these organizations.
