19.11.2019 - Opening of Applications for the 4th edition of the
Call for
Internships at NASA - 2019
Under the Reimbursable Space Act Agreement between The Foundation for Science and Technology and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education of Portugal and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration of the United States of America for Participation in the NASA International Internship Program (NASA I2) signed, in March 2016, between the Ministério da Ciência, Tecnologia e Ensino Superior, the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, I.P and NASA and considering the Amendment to the Reimbursable Space Act Agreement between the Foundation for Science, Technology and Higher Education of Portugal and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration of the United States of America for Participation in the NASA International Internship Program, signed in December 2018, FCT offers Portuguese students the opportunity to attend short internships at NASA.
The main purpose of this program is to provide Portuguese students, with proven curriculum (qualifications) and academic work with special focus on space, coming from the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, the opportunity to undertake short internships at NASA.
Applicants need to meet the following requirements:
Selected applicants will be awarded Research Fellowships, with the following components:

1464,36 € (Bachlor's Degree); 1726,93 € (Masters); |
600 €/annual (EUA) | 1000 € |
Personal accidents; Health |
The Call for Internships at NASA 2019 foresees 6 Research Fellowships and includes the following Internship Opportunities.
The call for applications for NASA Internships runs until 5:00 pm
(Lisbon time) on 19 December 2019.
